Since my wife is from Boston and Boston is one of my favorite cities I thought I would put a little effort into designing something useful for the this WordCamp. I have no expectations but I found it was quite an enjoyable exercise to create these regardless. I took my inspiration from our founding fathers. Whenever I think of Boston and the greater Boston area I think of all the patriotic men and events behind the founding of this great country. Paul Revere came to mind thus the famous statue of Mr. Revere at the Concord Minuteman National Park is the focal point of the logo. Most people will recognize this silhouette if not as Paul Revere himself at least as an early American Patriot. Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think. WordPress 2.7 actually made this plugin much easier to implement. There are a few css restrictions based on the height values of the image used in the header & padding values in the css. I will explain them below. One of the things I would like to implement in a future version is an admin page for settings so that the css and php files will not have to be editied manually.
