The Volt Gets a Battery Supplier

Several sources are reporting that Compact Power, Inc. (CPI) the Troy, Michigan division of LG Chem Ltd. of South Korea has won the contract to supply General Motors (GM) with the Lithium-ion batteries to power their mass-market plug-in hybrid Chevy Volt.

CPI supplied the batteries for Volt's mules and the batteries are reported to have ran flawlessly. Although the official word will not be delivered until November, the report of the CPI choice comes as no surprise.

I’ve got to say, this is the best looking blog I’ve ever seen. The ads aren’t clunky and don’t annoy the reader, but it looks like your getting some cash anyways. I’ve got to check this out.
