WP Coda Orange Theme Released
WP CODA ORANGE is based on the fantastic theme by Greg Johnson - WP CODA. WP CODA itself was created to “mimic the functionality of the very popular Coda website - created by .Panic to market their web development tools and services. As Greg states, “Every aspect of the Coda website was duplicated and this theme works in every major browser.”
I found the theme on the ever present Weblog Tools Collection theme release posts. I have added my own twists and simplified the graphic layout so others could take the files I created and make their own CODA theme flavor.

‘Branded Admin’ Plugin
Finally the Branded Admin Plugin has arrived. This plugin allows for the application of custom header and footer graphics to the WordPress Admin Section. It also removes WordPress links to better distinguish the site as a custom work and reinforce the sites branding. 
I have provided screenshots below of the before and after Admin Dashboard page from my site. I designed two images to create the branding effect I needed. One in the header, reinforcing the header logo from the content side of my site and an icon logo in the footer. Nothing fancy but it carries the logo to the Admin pages very well.

‘Dirty Girl’ Theme 1.0 Released
After thinking about it and reading the entries from a few commenters, the theme excercise that was ‘DIRTY GIRL’ will no longer be available to the public. I was using the design to help aid in my understanding of grid design. read more »

Bought my first issue of Dynamic Graphics: Design ideas for the real world (FEB-MAR 2008 V13N1). I must say there is a little more depth than meets the eye. I bought the issue for one of the main articles - 
8 Highly Effective Habits for Web Design - from which this post is named. Take some time with this one because is says alot about the user experience and why building relationships with potential customers can be hindered when we turn people off with our designs and desires.
