One of my new favorite hobbies (new if you consider lusting after HDTV’s for the past couple of years new) is checking out technology changes in the HDTV arena. I currently do not have an HDTV but I am very close to getting one. Just like all technology you can look on the horizon and see some great innovations coming. OLED, LCD, Plasma, 120Hz refresh rates (180Hz soon), HDTV’s thickness measured in mm, it never ends. I found a great article over at www.soundandvisionmag.com. It compares three HDTV types (OLED, LCD, Plasma) with comments from three S&V senior editors. LCD & Plasma are the current leaders but the technology advances OLED has to offer may make it a strong contender very soon.
