As promised here is the picture of Matt Mullenweg in the .net magazine (‘Practical Web Design’ in the U.S.) article describing the ‘Open Source Application of the Year’ award WordPress 2.5 received.

What is so eye-catching about Matt’s mug on this page is the fact that .net magazine is a large format publication. The pages are 8.75″ wide x 11.5″ tall *. Matt takes up half the page. This is a LARGE picture of Matt.

The only photos that rival it in the whole magazine are a picture of Marissa Mayor of Google fame (they were doing a feature on her). She has the whole of page 35 – seated. And a large bust shot of Jeffery Zeldman (A List Apart – webstandards.org) on page 52 who also won a .net award for ‘Standards Champion’. Very good company indeed.
