Widescreen vs Standard Screen Comparison

I found this graphic after reading an article in Popular Mechanics. It is basic geometry but I don't think alot of people consider the implications of a 32'' wide (16x9) aspect ratio as opposed to a 32'' standard (4x3) aspect ratio TV and the screen real estate you lose.
